City of Valentine Ends Water Chlorination
Chlorination Began November 14 According to Valentine City Manager Shane Seiwart, the chlorination of the city’s municipal water system has come to an end. October Traffic Fatalities Down in NE
State Transportation officials say 17 people lost their lives on Nebraska roadways in the month of October, down significantly from the 25 fatalities recorded the same time last year. Of the 12 vehicle occupants killed, five were not restrained, two were using a seat belt and five others were unknown. Equine EHV-1 Puts Hold on Events
The rodeo and horse world have been put on hold with an outbreak of EHV-1 virus in horses. Remains Identified as Chance Engelbert
Family members of a missing Moorcroft, Wyoming man say forensic testing confirms a body found at the Scotts Bluff National Monument last month is Chance Englebert. The Facebook post continues that “the State Attorney will do a press release Wednesday,” after which Chance’s remains will be released to his family. The post said the positive identification is not any type of closure, and there will just always be more questions.

2 New Members Elected to Cherry County Ag Society
The Cherry County Ag Society held their annual election of members last night at the 4-H building in Valentine. There were 27 people in attendance who were all eligible to nominate and vote for board members. There were four current members whose terms were up, Clete Scheer, Shaylee Arendt, Richard Schrunk and Neal Wescott. Scheer and Arendt did not seek reelection. Valentine Firemen Respond To Smoke Smell Monday Morning

Mission Man Convicted Of Assaulting A Federal Officer
Shannon Dunham was recently sentenced to federal prison, according to the US Attorney's Office. US Attorney's Office, District of South Dakota - United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced today that U.S. District Judge Eric C.
