Update Remains Found at Scottsbluff
Authorities say a forensic examination of the skeletal human remains discovered Friday on the north side of the Scotts Bluff National Monument has yet to take place, but circumstantial evidence suggests the body may be that of a missing Moorcroft, Wyoming man. Hospital 50th Anniversary
The Cherry County Hospital is celebrated its 50th anniversary at the location on Green Street Wednesday afternoon with coffee and cookies. Members of the public were invited to reminisce with former staff, doctors and administrators during the event. They also had several displays from the hospital over the years. 50th Celebration for CCH
The Cherry County Hospital is celebrating its 50th anniversary at the location on Green Street this afternoon with coffee and cookies from 4 to 7PM. The original Sandhills General Hospital was a two-story building run by Father Blaire and operated by two sisters in 1912. Adamson Wins Tie Down at Badlands Circuit
J.T. Adamson of Cody won the Calf Roping average at the Badland Circuit Finals Pro Rodeo this past weekend in Minot North Dakota. JT tied for 4th place in the first go-round with a time of 9.8 second. He was also 4th in the 2nd go with a time of 10 flat. It's Time Valentine Fund Raising
It’s Time Valentine fund raising efforts continued Saturday night with the reverse raffle held at the former Shopko Building in Valentine. There were 260 tickets sold, so the jackpot was a total of $11,000. Tickets were removed from the board in a countdown fashion until the top ten were left. You had to have a perfect card to win any money in this week’s KVSH Pigskin Prediction contest. There were 12 perfect cards turned in.
