A celebration of Life for Pastor Scott E. McClellen age 68 of Valentine, will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Valentine Berean Bible Church in Valentine. The Berean Church will be reserved for family and church members; others are welcome to come to the Valentine Methodist Church where the funeral will be live streaming in the sanctuary. The funeral will also be livestreamed on the Valentine Berean Bible Church’s youtube.com. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8th from 5-7 PM with family present at 6 PM at the Berean Bible Church, with a prayer service following at 7 PM.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at11:00 AM at the Plainview Cemetery near Maxwell, NE. Pastor Scott passed away on March 31 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Valentine Berean Bible Churches building fund, NE Children’s Home Society, Grace Mission or to the Saturday Morning Breakfast Group.
