Summer Break And Graduations Approach All Around The KVSH Area
Most schools in the KVSH area will have graduations this weekend and next. The last day for classes at Valentine Community Schools this year will be May 18th for all students pre-K through 4th grade. The last day of school for 5th through 11th graders will be May 20 with VHS semester tests taken on the 19th and 20th. Suspect Arrested In Todd County On Multiple Charges
David Charles Jackson, JR had active State and Federal warrants for his arrest. Tire Amnesty Success in Springview
Over 350 tons of scrap tires were accumulated during the two day tire amnesty event in Springview on Tuesday and Thursday. Over 250 tons were dropped off on Tuesday and another 100 tons on Wednesday at the old airport in Springview. The goal for the event was a maximum of 400 tons. Tire Amnesty Tuesday and Wednesday in Springview.
The North Central Nebraska RC&D will hold a tire amnesty event in Springview on Tuesday and Wednesday at the old Airport. Tuesday times will be 9AM until 5PM and Wednesday will be 8AM until 4PM. If they reach the 400 ton limit, it will close early. Loads of 20 tires or more will need a scale ticket of weight. A scale will be available near the site. Old West Days Underway in Valentine
