Holiday Preview This Saturday

This Saturday will be the annual Holiday Preview event in Valentine, sponsored by the Valentine Chamber of Commerce. Some businesses will be open as early as 7AM and some will be open until 8PM. Each business will feature Christmas merchandise, with several offering early discounts and specials.

Santa and his reindeer will be at Youngs Western Wear from 1 to 3PM for children to provide their wish list to him.

The parade entry forms are available now at KVSH Radio, and they should be returned to KVSH by noon on Friday the 21st. Entries should line up for the parade at 6pm at the corner of First and Main Street with the parade starting at 6:30.  KVSH will interrupt the Husker Football game briefly to broadcast the parade live.  We will also have the PA system set up downtown. There will also be hot chocolate, cookies and smores on Main Street.  After the parade, Santa will be available at the theater building. 

After the parade everyone is invited to the Vets Club for Mexican food and the Husker game will be on TV. There will also be some fun and games.
