VPD Week In Review March 29 - April 4

 Following a recent series of thefts from unlocked vehicles the Police Department reminds everyone to not leave valuables in their vehicle and lock your cars.

During the week of March 29th to April 4th, the following arrests were reported by

the Valentine Police Department:

On March 29th at 12:08 AM, a disturbance complaint in the 100 block of North Main

Street lead to the arrest of a 24 year old Nebraska man for Third Degree Domestic

Assault.

On April 3rd at 10:50 AM, a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Main Street lead

to the arrest of a 26 year old South Dakota man on an outstanding arrest warrant for

driving under the influence.

On April 3rd, at 3:15 PM, a 28 year old Nebraska man was arrested on a warrant

issued for violation of the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry.

In all the police department responded to 41 calls for service during the week,

including:

5 animal complaints

10 traffic stops

2 welfare checks

1 theft
