VPD Week In Review June 7 to June 13, 2026

Officers responded to 30 calls in the past week.

During the week of June 7th to June 13th, two arrests were reported by the Valentine Police Department:

On June 13th, at approximately 1:30 AM, a 34 year old Nebraska man was arrested and charged with Child Abuse following an investigation that began when an officer was called to speak to an injured child.

At 6:20 PM, an officer responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of South Cherry Street.  A 31 year old Nebraska woman was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace.

During the week officers responded to 30 calls for service, including:

5 traffic stops

4 welfare checks

2 disturbances

4 animal complaints

1 non-injury accident

4 business checks
