VPD Week in Review Feb 8-14 2026

Officers with VPD responded to 22 calls for service last week.

During the week of February 8th to February 14th, the following arrests were made by

the Valentine Police Department:

On February 14th at 12:55 AM, a traffic stop in the city park lead to the arrest of

a 26 year old South Dakota woman for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

On February 14th, at 7:20 PM, a caller in the 300 block of North Cherry Street

reported a male attempting to enter her vehicle. The male suspect was located and

arrested for Disturbing the Peace.

During the week, officers responded to 22 calls for service, including:

5 traffic stops

3 welfare checks

3 suspicious person or vehicle complaints

1 criminal mischief

1 fraud

1 theft
