VPD Week In Review August 30 - Sept 5, 2026

Valentine Police Department responded to 44 calls for service in the past week.

During the week of August 30th to September 5th, two arrests were made by the

Valentine Police Department.

On September 3rd at 9:00 PM, a traffic stop near the 800 block of Cherry Street lead

to the arrest of a 47 year old Wisconsin man on the charge of Driving Under the

Influence of Alcohol.

At 1:45 AM on September 3rd, officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of

South Helen Street. A 29 year old Nebraska man was arrested and charged with

Trespassing.

During the week officers responded to 44 calls for service, including:

12 traffic stops

6 welfare checks

2 disturbances

1 criminal mischief

1 theft

1 DUI
