During the week of February 15th to the 21st, four arrests were reported by the Valentine Police Department:
On February 16th, a complaint in the 300 block of North Hall Street lead to the arrest of a 19 year old Nebraska man and a juvenile male on the charge of Burglary.
On February 18th, at 5:25 PM, a disturbance was reported near the intersection of 5th and Government Streets. A 31 year old Nebraska woman was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace.
At 5:25 PM on February 20th, officers responded to a vandalism complaint at in the 100 block of west Highway 20. A 53 year old Nebraska man was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief.
On February 21st, at 11:00 PM, a traffic stop of a reported intoxicated driver lead to the arrest of a 36 year old South Dakota woman. She was charged with Driving Under the Influence and taken to the Cherry County Jail.
During the week officers responded to 25 calls for service, including:
7 traffic stops
4 disturbances
2 animal complaints
1 burglary
1 welfare check
1 report of harassment
