VFD Responded to 71 Incidents in the Last Year

As Fire Prevention Week continues, the Valentine Volunteer Fire Department announced that they responded to 71 incidents between May 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025. Of those, 22 were inside city limits, 36 were rural calls, and 13 were mutual aid calls. There were 3735 man hours spent answering these alarms, and a total of 5255 hours were spent in service to the community responding to fires, drills, meetings, as well as schooling and other special duties. The VFD thanks the community for its continued support.
The Valentine Volunteer Fire Department has 41 active members serving the area.
