VCS Census of Students, Staff for the 2025-2025 School Year

VCS Student to Staff Ratio is about 6 to 1.

With school back in session at Valentine Community Schools, superintendent Mike Halley says there are a total of 625 students in the entire VCS school system.  47 preschool students, 243 k-4, and 179 students in the 5^th – 8^th grade middle school.  The high school has 156 students grades 9-12.  These numbers also reflect students at the rural school.

On the flip side of the schooling coin are 108 staff members employed by the public school system in Valentine.  68 are certified teaching staff, with 34 non certified support staff and 6 administrative staff. 

School got started for students in Valentine last Wednesday, August 13^th.
