Valentine's City Hall Getting New Roof

Work on the roof at Valentine's City Hall should be done soon.

The next phase of the City Hall renovation is underway as White Castle Roofing out of Lincoln, Nebraska works on re-roofing the office building.  White Castle’s winning bid of $47,419 came in much lower than all of the other companies that had submitted their bids.  According to city manager Shane Siewart, all of the others came in at 80-90 thousand dollars.  Work got started on the 5^th of August, with no exact completion date set, though Siewart expects it to be done “soon”.
