Valentine Marathon Donates Over $1000 to Valentine Community Schools Foundation

Mark Gudgel, a graduate of Valentine Community Schools, hosted a marathon last summer during Crazy Days in Valentine.  Mark generously chose to donate a dollar for every mile run by the athletes at the event to the Valentine Community Schools Foundation.  With over 100 runners taking place in the marathon, the total donation came to $1280.  Gudgel plans to make the Valentine Marathon an annual event, and has already slated August 1st for the 2026 event.
