True Value Reopens as Huskerland Hardware in Valentine

Matt and Ashley Sandoz have re-opened the recently shuttered True Value Hardware store in Valentine on Wednesday. The new store, Huskerland Hardware was purchased from John and Lila Miller several months ago, starting the long process of refreshing and restocking. Matt Sandoz told KVSH News that when it was announced that the Miller's would be retiring from the business after several decades of serving the area, he found an opportunity to help keep Valentine's downtown area open and bustling. He said that he wanted to make sure that this wouldn't become an empty storefront and he said that it was important to him that the business remained locally owned.
Huskerland Hardware will have a grand opening soon, but in the meantime will still have a huge selection of fresh products straight off the truck, with truckloads still coming in seemingly daily.
