The 'Dodo" this Saturday

Frederick Peak Golf Club will host the Marty Jordan Memorial Golf Tournament this Saturday.  The tournament itself is full, but the public is invited to help them raise money for a new shelter at the golf course by attending the other events during the day.

In the evening, Hoebe’s Smokin Meats will provide a gumbo meal and there will also be a silent auction.  Proceeds will be going toward the Frederick Peak Improvement Project.  The location of the pavilion structure has yet to be determined.  It was though it may be located on the East end of the course and could provide shelter for golfers and possibly include restrooms.
