RST Council Votes To Suspend President Wooden Knife Thursday UPDATED

A representative at the RST offices confirmed the suspension Thursday afternoon.

An official with the Rosebud Sioux Tribe has confirmed that the RST Council voted Thursday afternoon to suspend RST President Kathleen Wooden Knife immediately. KVSH Radio has reached out to the RST Council including the secretary and vice president's offices who have not yet made an official comment. However, a source who was present at the Thursday meeting stated that the council cited misuse of authority among other charges in their reasoning to suspend the president. Our source also stated that Wooden Knife was given a no travel order until further notice.
