One Vehicle Accident Causes Small Grass Fire Near Mission

The accident took place just before noon on Wednesday.

Emergency crews responded to a one vehicle accident about 5 miles east of Mission Wednesday morning.  According to Mission Fire officials, a pickup truck struck a power pole at about 11:45 Wednesday, which led to a small grass fire which was quickly contained by area firemen.  Apparently, a good Samaritan pulled the driver from the wrecked truck prior to the arrival of fire crews and the Rosebud Ambulance Service.  The driver’s condition was not released.
