Mosquito Spraying Continues in Valentine

Spraying continues into October.

The City of Valentine will continue to spray for mosquitoes as the weather permits.  According to city manager Shane Seiwart, the spray truck is expected to be out for at least another 3 weeks, spraying on Thursday evenings just before dusk.  The sprayer will be retired for the winter when the weather begins to cool down and deteriorate, but will be back for the 2026 season as temperatures warm back up.
