KVSH Area Students Will Have Christmas Break For The Next Few Weeks

Classes will return around the region during the week of January 5th.

School’s out for most all KVSH area students for Christmas break.  Most schools wrapped up for the year on Friday the 19^th and will be out until 2026.

Mullen and Cody Kilgore Unified Schools will have classes back in session beginning on Monday, January 5^th, but students at Sandhills Thedford and Valentine Community Schools will not be back in class until Tuesday, January 6^th due to a strategically placed teacher in-service on the 5^th.

Students at Grace Lutheran School in Valentine are still in school Monday, as well as a half day on Tuesday.  Grace will celebrate their Christmas break until Wednesday, January 7^th, 2026.
