The Nebraska football team has been selected to play in the 2025 SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl, marking the Huskers’ second consecutive postseason trip. Nebraska will meet Utah in the game, which is set for Wednesday, Dec. 31 at Allegiant Stadium. The game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT (12:30 p.m. PT) with ESPN providing the television coverage. The Husker Radio Network will carry the game including KVSH.
This marks Nebraska’s first-ever appearance in the Las Vegas Bowl and the Huskers’ 55th bowl game in school history. Nebraska will enter the contest with a 7-5 record, marking the fourth straight year the Huskers have improved their regular-season win total.
This will be the fifth meeting in school history with Utah, but the first since 1992. Nebraska holds a 4-0 advantage in the series with all four matchups played at Memorial Stadium between 1968 and 1992.
Utah comes into the game with a 10-2 record with its only losses this season to Big 12 Championship Game participants Texas Tech and BYU. The Utes closed the season with five straight victories, posting an average victory margin of 23.6 points in the winning streak.
