Grass Fire Overnight Burns Small Area Of Grass Monday Night

The fire was thought to have been caused by a power line issue.

Another grass fire around midnight Monday night led to another outing by the Valentine Volunteer Fire Department and Cherry County Hospital Ambulance Service.  According to Chief Terry Engels, the fire was likely caused by power line issues, and burned only a small amount of grass near Birch Street on the southwest corner of Valentine.
