Governor Pillen Readies Nebraska National Guard In Preparation For Potential Wildfires

On Monday, Nebraska's Governor Jim Pillen issued a proclamation that readies the Nebraska National Guard to assist with any potential major wildfires in the state.
According to the proclamation, equipment, personnel and aerial support will all be put on "State Active-Duty" status.
This comes after Pillen called upon the state's Nebraska National Guard assisted in battling wildfires that burned almost 875,000 acres.
