First Week Winners In KVSH Prediction Contest

Winners were announced during the Tuesday morning Comment Program

With all four of our KVSH area high school football teams losing last
weekend, it cost many of our players in the Pigskin Prediction contest to
stay loyal to their teams. There were no cards that picked Cincinnati to
win over Nebraska.  There were 13 cards that missed 3 games and 18 that
missed 4 games.  Everyone else missed between 5 and 8. There was only one
person who had two incorrect picks on their card.  Nila Gierau, (guh-roo)of Springview was loyal to the Badgers and to Notre Dame, and it cost her those two picks. Nila will take first place in the first week of the
contest. 2nd place was determined by yardage with 3 wrong picks.  Bruce
Dellinger of Valentine was only 14 yards off Nebraska's total offense of
353.
Don't forget to get your cards turned in to KVSH by Friday afternoon before the High School games begin this week. Cards are available at Nelsen Furniture, Tooth and Whisker Outdoors, Security First Bank and Young's Western Wear.
