Work Continues On Main Street Mural

The mural continues to take shape on the Huskerland Hardware building at 3rd and Main.

Work continues on the large mural project on the south Wall of Huskerland Hardware on the corner of 3rd and Main Streets in Valentine.

Lauren Olson of Oshkosh Nebraska has the $21-23,000 contract which is being paid for through grants from the local Pestal Foundation and Nebraska Arts.

As we've reported earlier, Olson is no stranger to mural work, as she has done numerous other murals from Haymarket Park area in Lincoln, to Oshkosh, Benkelman and Bridgeport. It was reported that this will be the largest mural project that Olson has tackled.
