Fill An Empty Stocking Coming Soon

Forms are available at Union Bank and Trust in Valentine

Leo Brinda Post & Unit 90 and Sons Squadron of the American Legion in Valentine will

sponsor their annual Fill An Empty Stocking project. Parents and/or legal guardians

with physical custody who wish to sign up their children for gifts need to fill out

the forms at Union Bank & Trust on Highway 20 in Valentine on or before Friday

December 5.

A Christmas tree poster been placed in the Veterans Club window. Each family of

children needing to be adopted will be represented.

Each note will display the family number, gender and age of each child in that

family. Local folks may choose a number and adopt a “family of children” by phoning

376-2443.

The deadline to turn in “adopted family donations” is Friday December 12.

Delivery of these Christmas gifts will take place on Saturday December 20 at 8AM.

The American Legion Family is hopeful that no children will be left out and are

grateful for the community’s help with this annual holiday project that fills the

heart of both the giver and the child.
