A new, nine-week Financial Peace University (FPU) class is starting March 9th @ 7 pm, offering participants a structured approach to budgeting, eliminating debt using the "debt snowball" method, and building emergency savings. The course, developed by Dave Ramsey, helps families take control of their finances and build wealth.
Kim Burge is leading a local, nine-week Financial Peace University class to help community members take control of their money. The course, founded by financial expert Dave Ramsey, covers essential topics such as creating a budget, eliminating debt, and saving for emergencies.
Participants often see immediate results, with many graduating from the program with significantly reduced debt and increased savings. One attendee reported cutting their student loan in half before the nine-week course was over. Another participant, a veteran, highlighted the class as a way to avoid learning financial lessons "the hard way".
The class is held weekly in a small group setting, encouraging accountability and motivation. It focuses on the "Baby Steps" system, which includes building a starter emergency fund and aggressively paying off debt.
The next class starts Monday, March 9th, 7 pm at the Valentine Berean Church. For more information, please contact Kim Burge @ 402.376.5842. Sign up.
