Childcare Facility to Open January 5th

Tuesday evening The Valentine Children and Families Coalition unveiled the new childcare facility in Valentine.  Afternoon two years of planning and construction, Director Jill Austin told KVSH news that the facility will open on January 5th at the Episcopal Church on North Main Street in Valentine.

 The state licensed facility will start with 8 children and expand to 12 soon with employees coming on board. The facility will have a kitchen, baby napping room, play area, bathrooms and more.

Tuesday evening residents had the opportunity to tour the facility and visit with Jill about the process and to meet coordinator Andrea Eggers.

 This facility has been several years in developing under direction from the Valentine Children and Families Coalition.
