VPD Week In Review May 3-9, 2026

One arrest was made in the past week

During the week of May 3rd to May 9th, one arrest was reported by the Valentine

Police Department:

On May 8th, at 1:15 PM, officers responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of

the Valentine Elementary School. A juvenile male was taken into custody and charged

with Assault in the Third Degree.

During the week, officers responded to 28 calls for service, including:

10 traffic stops

2 welfare checks

2 reports of criminal mischief

2 animal complaints

1 non-injury accident

1 report of s suspicious person or vehicle.
