VPD Week In Review July 12 - July 18 2026

Valentine Police Department responded to 30 calls for service in the past week.

During the week of July 12th to July 18th, the following arrests were made by the

Valentine Police Department:

On July 15th, an investigation lead to the arrest a 43 year old Nebraska man and a

41 year old Nebraska woman on the charge of Child Abuse.

On July 15th, at 5:20 PM, and officer responded to a theft complaint in the 200

block of East B Street. A 22 year old Nebraska man was charged with misdemeanor

theft by embezzlement.

At 5:53 AM on July 16th, an officer checking on a suspicious vehicle in the city

park contacted the male and female occupants. The 53 year old Nebraska male was

arrested for violation of a Protection Order.

At 7:42 PM on July 17th, an officer responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of

Lodi Street. A 25 year old Nebraska woman was arrested and charged with Domestic

Assault.

During the week officers responded to 30 calls for service, including:

4 thefts

3 animal complaints

2 disturbances

1 domestic disturbance

5 traffic stops

1 protection order violation

1 criminal trespassing
