VPD Week in Review January 25-31

Valentine Police Department officers responded to 36 calls for service this week.

During the week of January 25th to January 31st, the following arrests were reported

by the Valentine Police Department:

At 7:41 PM on January 26th, a traffic stop in the 500 block of Highway 20 lead to

the arrest of a 33 year old Oklahoma man on drug possession charges.

On January 28th at 6:55 PM a 43 year old Nebraska man was arrested for driving under

the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 20

and South Hall Street.

On January 30th, at 12:10 AM, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the

800 block of Dowden street. A 35 year old Nebraska man was arrested for Third

Degree Domestic Assault.

In all the police department responded to 36 calls for service during the week,

including:

7 traffic stops

2 welfare checks

2 truancy complaints

2 non-injury accidents

2 reported runaways

1 drug violation

1 theft of a motor vehicle

1 report of terroristic threats
