VPD Officers responded to 42 calls for service in the past week

During the week of April 5th to April 11th, the following arrests were made by the

Valentine Police Department:

 

On April 5th, at 7:15 PM, officers responded to a complaint of an erratic woman in the 200 block of South Main Street.  A 25 year old South Dakota woman was contacted, and subsequently arrested for Third Degree Assault on a Peace Officer.

 

On April 8th, at 12:20 PM, a shoplifting complaint in the 400 block of West Highway 20 lead to the arrest of a 28 year old Nebraska man on the charge of Theft by

Shoplifting.

 

At 3:22 AM on April 10th, officers responded to a disturbance complaint in the 200 block of South Main Street.  A 24 year old South Dakota woman was arrested and charged with Third Degree Assault.

 

At 7:05 PM on April 10th a disturbance was reported at 3rd and Main Streets.  A 42 year old South Dakota man would later be cited and charged with Third Degree

Assault.

 

On April 11th, at 7:05 PM, an officer responded to a disturbance complaint in the 200 block of South Helen Street.  A 19 year old Nebraska woman was arrested and

charged with Domestic Assault in the Third Degree.

 

During the week officers responded to 42 calls for service, including

 

-reports of criminal mischief

-3 assaults

-1 auto theft

-5 traffic stops

-4 disturbances
