VPD Report

During the week of December 28th through January 3rd, the following arrests were reported by the Valentine Police Department;

On December 31st, at 10:05 PM, a traffic stop near the intersection of 4th and Edna Streets lead to the arrest of a 32 year old Pennsylvania man on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

Also on December 31st, at 10:20 PM, a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Main Street lead to the arrest of a 48 year old Nebraska man on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

During the week, the police department responded to 42 calls for service, including:

20 traffic stops

3 citizen assists

2 animal complaints

1 welfare check

1 non-injury accident
