Valentine Police Department Week In Review

During the week of September 7th, 2025, to September 13th, the following arrests
were reported by the Valentine Police Department:
On September 7th, at 2:47 AM, an officer responded to a report of a suspicious
vehicle idling in the road in the 100 block of North Cherry Street. A 26 year old
Nebraska man was arrested for Driving under the Influence of Alcohol.
On September 7th, at 7:40 PM, a traffic stop near the intersection of 4th and Wood
streets lead to the arrest of a 24 year old South Dakota female for Driving under
the influence of alcohol.
On September 12th, at 8:47 AM, a report of a disturbance in the 1000 block of East
Highway 20. Officers arrived and subsequently arrested a 36 year old South Dakota
female for Driving Under the influence of alcohol.
Later on September 12th, at 10:50 AM, officers responded to a trespassing complaint
in the 100 block of East Highway 20. A 44 year old South Dakota male was arrested
for Second Degree Criminal Trespassing.
On September 13th, at 11:22 AM, a traffic stops in the 700 block of North Main
Street resulting in the driver, a 30 year old South Dakota male, being arrested for
Driving under the Influence of drugs.
In all the police department responded to 55 calls for service, including:
20 traffic stops
4 reports of a suspicious person or vehicle
2 animal complaints
1 non-injury accident
2 trespassing complaints
2 assault complaints
1 welfare check
