Tickets Now Available for Valentine Coronation Feb 1st

The 82nd Coronation “Hearts in Wonderland” is set to crown its royalty on Sunday, February 1st at 5:30 PM at Valentine High School. Royalty candidates and participants have been chosen from the Valentine Community Schools K-12th grade. Our Royal Herald (Mad Hatter) and St. Valentine (Alice)lead the program, Landen Mooney and Praise Maunu.

Candidates from the senior class, the Queen/Princess and King/Prince nominees are Aubrey Benson, Katelyn Dorsey, Aiden Hand, Ashlyn Hutchinson, Grace Murphy, Samantha Sprenger, Jordan Bailey, Garrett Cumbow, Sutton Schrunk, Caden Stankowski, Jekhi Williams, and Reeves Witte.

 Duke and Duchess candidates from the Junior Class are Jessalyn Fay, Ashley Mora Lira, Rylee Wackler, Duncan Mosner, Deklin Titus, and Allen Ward.

 Sophomore Countess and Count nominees are Annalena Nelson, Leah Osnes, Addison Stec, Jackson Huggins, Boone Jespersen, and Raken Tinant.

 Freshmen page royalty candidates are Devahney Belville, Mia Sherbeyn, Tylee Tinant, Aiden Buckendahl, Gage Sandoz, and Parker Wackler.

 Other coronation court participants were chosen from students at Valentine Elementary and Middle School. Tickets are now available at Youngs Western Wear, Janines Flower Exchange, Sandhills State Bank or from Danielle Arganbright at the high school.

A dance will follow the ceremony, approximately 7:30-10:00 PM. Any 9th-12th grader who attends the ceremony may use that ticket for dance entry; dance entry is $5 a person.
