Sparks Spurs Fall Shoot Coming Up Sept 25-27 2026

Shooters compete against each other for the fastest accurate shots.

The Sparks Spurs of Cowboy Fast Draw Association will hold thier annual

fall shoot on Sept 25th through the 27th at the Cherry County Fairgrounds

in Valentine. For several years the Sparks Nebraska Spurs have hosted

gunfighters from several states at this event. With the support of the

Cherry County Visitors Promotion Board and other sponsors, this event

relives the old west with 45 long colt pistols shooting wax bullets against

opponents for fastest times. The public is welcome to watch the gunfights

in the bus barn building at the fairgrounds. For more information contact

Rich Mercure, Mike Burge, Dean Storms or John Hanzlicek.
