Resignation, Retirements Approved At VCS Board Meeting

Valentine Community Schools' Board of Education met Monday in Valentine

At this week's regular meeting of the Valentine Community Schools' Board of Education, several retirements and resignations were accepted. Valentine Middle School Principal Jeff Sayer announced his retirement, as did VCS teacher Kris Krolikowski. Superintendent Mike Halley announced his resignation at the meeting, also.

Sayer has been principal at VMS since 2008, while Halley has been superintendent at Valentine since 2020.

All three will continue to serve Valentine Community Schools through the 2026-2027 school year.
