A couple of college football games this past weekend fooled some of the participants in the KVSH football prediction contest. Oklahoma beating Alabama was the most prevalent, and Jacksonville State beating Kennesaw State was the other. The top two games on the card were thrown out as they had been played earlier last week. If you selected all teams on the right side of the card, you would have only missed one game.
There were 16 cards that missed only one game, so Colorado States total yardage against New Mexico was used to determine the winners. The Rams had 299 yards of offense in the loss to New Mexico. Kathy Hammond guessed 303 yards, so Kathy will take the first place check in the weekly contest. Only seven yards off the Rams total with a guess of 292, was Greg Brown who will take second place.
There were 29 people who missed only two games. There are two weeks left in regular season contest. Cards are available at our sponsors, Youngs Western Wear, Security 1st Bank, Nelsen Furniture and Tooth and Whisker Outdoors.
