NDOT Working on Highway 12

Microsurfacing has started for the Valentine East project on Highway 12. Please watch the school and hospital zones.

A "scratch coat" has been placed on the roadway in Valentine. This bottom lift is placed between the paint lines, with a top lift to be placed later. Both

applications should be completed by the end of next week barring adverse weather and equipment breakdowns.

Traffic will be maintained by use of a flagging set-up and pilot car. This work zone is mobile and can cover up to 12 miles in one lane per day. Expect delays.

Construction of cross walks thru this project is nearing completion, sod will be placed as suitable weather allows, and school zone signs are scheduled to be replaced.
