Lady Badgers Qualify for District Final

The Valentine Lady Badgers Volleyball squad defeated Perkins County in the Sub-District final on Wednesday evening at Valentine High School gym.  The Lady Plainsmen won the first two sets in close scores, but Valentine came back and won sets 3, 4 and 5 to win the match and qualify for District final this Saturday.

Scores were 25 to 27, 23 to 25, 25-13, 25 to 16 and 15 to 9.

  Valentine advances with a 22 and 10 record to take on the number 2 seed Guardian Central Catholic at West Point this Saturday afternoon at 2pm.  The game can be heard on KVSH with pregame to start at 1:45. The winner will qualify for state tournament.

Also qualifying for a district final was Sandhill Thedford who will host Red Cloud this Saturday in Dunning.
