It's Time Valentine Fund Raising

It’s Time Valentine fund raising efforts continued Saturday night with the reverse raffle held at the former Shopko Building in Valentine.  There were 260 tickets sold, so the jackpot was a total of $11,000.  Tickets were removed from the board in a countdown fashion until the top ten were left. Certain tickets were winners during the countdown. Mary Kay Ford won 125 dollars, Shelly Henderson won $175, Angel Davis won $225, Bill Longcor won $300 and Amy Cox won $450. 

In the end, the four remaining names had all indicated they were willing to split the pot and walked away with $2,750 each.  Those winners were Steve Isom, Kelly Rockwell, Becky Poland and Valerie Peterson. Approximately $14,000 was raised for the events center.  A big thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and helped with the event.
