Heart City Child Care Opened Today

After two years of planning and construction, Valentine Children and Families Coalition Director Jill Austin confirmed to KVSH news, that the new Heart City Childcare facility opened today, at the Episcopal Church on North Main Street in Valentine.
The state licensed facility will start with 8 children and expand to 12 soon with employees coming on board. The facility will have a kitchen, baby napping room, play area, bathrooms and more. Jill will be our guest on the KVSH comment program at 10:15 on Monday to update the community.
This facility has been several years in developing under direction from the Valentine Children and Families Coalition which was comprised of local school participation, Valentine Economic Development, UNL Extension Education and other local entities. The Nebraska Children and Families Coalition have provided guidance during the start up of the local organization.
