Daylight Savings Time Ends This Weekend

The time to “fall back” has come as Daylight Savings Time (DST) will come to an end on Sunday, Nov. 1, with clocks being set back by an hour.
The change brings earlier sunrises and sunsets as Nebraska returns to standard time. DST is observed by most states, except Arizona and Hawaii.
The practice of DST in the United States started in 1918 and has been contested and debated since.
One of the first Americans to propose something like DST was Benjamin Franklin, although it is thought to have been more of a joke than a serious proposal.
DST officially ends on Sunday, Nov. 1 and clocks will be set backward one hour.
