Constituents Urged To Testify Regarding Brand Bill
- Feb 10

In her latest weekly column, Senator Tanya Storer talked about the upcoming legislative activity that has generated considerable interest in my office... "I have received several calls and emails regarding the Brand Bill introduced by Senator Hansen, which would dismantle the Nebraska Brand Committee and make statewide inspections voluntary. This bill will be heard by the Agriculture Committee on February 17, alongside Senator
DeKay's LB1187, which is a bill to increase fees necessary to meet the needs of the
continuation of the Brand Committees work.
Individuals who wish to testify or submit comments may do so in person or through the Legislature's online comment system. Please note that you cannot do both.
If you are unable to attend in person but want to ensure your voice is heard and formally entered into the legislative record, you'll need to submit your comments through the
Legislature's online comment system prior to 8:00 am on February 17th. Constituents can also call Senator Storers office at (402) 471-2628"
