Cattle Battle This Weekend

The 2026 Heart City Cattle Battle will be this Friday and Saturday at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. This annual youth centered event includes a fitting clinic, judging clinic, showmanship for senior intermediate, junior and peewee categories. A highlight is the adult showmanship for mom and dad with $100 buy -in and winner takes all prize. That competition takes place Friday evening at 9PM. On Saturday will be market animals and breeding animals with buckles awarded for the top 5 places along. The public is welcome to come to watch the clinics and shows.
