Boys Finish Great Season at 23 and 4

The Badger boys’ basketball, team concluded a tremendous season finishing at 23 and 4 for the year. Three of the four teams the Badgers lost to are in the class C1 state tournament this week.
The boys lost in overtime 57 to 56 to Freeman in the first round of the class C2 state tournament on a last second shot.
The badgers will graduate three seniors including leading scorer Ike Cronin who did not play in the recent game due to an ankle injury. Ike finished the season averaging 22 points per game. Also graduating will be Caden Stankoski and Trace Buechle who were both key factors in the 23 wins this season.
There will be a great nucleus of underclassman back for next year as a core for the team.
