The Valentine Lady Badgers wrestling team finished in 3rd place overall at the District B4 wrestling tournament held in Ogallala on February 6th and 7th. there were 36 schools represented ranging from Wayne and Fort Calhoon to Bayard and Bridgeport.

The Badger's entered 11 girls in the tournament with over half qualifying for state on February 17th and 18th in Omaha.

Qualifiers from Valentine included

100lbs Reegan Eggert, second time qualifier as a Sophamore who placed 4th

115lbs Bayley Burdick as a Freshman placed 4th

120 Danika Janssen as a Sophomore placed 3rd

130lbs Samantha Sprenger, placed 2nd, as the one Senior on the team.

135lbs Haddison Mundorf as a Sophomore placed 2nd.

235 Freshman Addie Sexson took 3rd place.
