The Valentine FFA Chapter is sending 47 students to State FFA in Lincoln today.  They plan to leave about 2pm this afternoon with an escort.

Each Spring, more than 7,000 FFA members, advisors and guests arrive in Lincoln to celebrate the annual Nebraska State FFA Convention. Members participate in general sessions, competitive events, educational tours, leadership workshops, and Career Fair and Expo. Events are held at Pinnacle Bank Arena, Haymarket area hotels and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus. The convention will end on Friday.

On another FFA note, At last weeks hired hand and silent auction, the group raised over $30,000 to support chapter activities.
