Wind Disrupts Power To Several City Of Valentine Customers Thursday Night

Winds caused the outage late Thursday in Valentine

City of Valentine Electric crews were out Thursday night into Friday morning after wind caused a power outage in the northwest part of town.  According to city manager Shane Siewart, the initial call came in shortly after 11pm for the outage that affected approximately 20 electric customers.  Unfortunately, fixing the problem required that additional power customers be affected as the area had to be shut down.  Power was restored to the area just before 2am Friday morning.
