Willie Joe Holmes, age 97 of Valentine, passed away in York, NE on September 7, 2025.

 

Visitation at Holmes Funeral Home in Valentine from

5-7pm Wednesday September 10th

 

Funeral services will begin at 10am Thursday September 11, 2025 at the Presbyterian Church in Valentine.

 

Burial with military honors will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Valentine.

 

Willie Joe is survived by sons: Joe Allen of Grand Island & Robert 'Bob' of Omaha, also Daughters: Cathie Belville of Valentine & Sherri of York and Brother: Archie Holmes. 


Holmes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Willie Joe Holmes.
